Our story

How the story began

The RED story

It started with simple attempts to grow a green space full of life, but the results fell short of our ambition. The soil was exhausted, and the plants wilted quickly despite constant care. We turned to all kinds of chemical fertilizers; the fixes were temporary, and we soon realized they drain the land of its health and upset its natural balance over time. One question kept coming back to us: how does nature take care of itself in dense forests with no human help?

Searching for an answer, our curiosity led us to nature’s hidden secrets, and we discovered the unsung soldier working silently beneath our feet: the Red Wigglers.

At first, raising worms at home sounded unusual, but curiosity pushed us to try. We started with a small box, filled it with vegetable and fruit scraps that were headed for the bin, and left the job to these little heroes. What happened next felt close to magic: within a few weeks, that organic waste turned into dark, rich soil that smells like the earth after rain. This is black gold.

When we added this natural compost to our plants, we saw a real revival. Life returned to the roots, and the leaves grew greener than we had ever seen. We had found the missing link: the secret of lasting fertility.

That is when we knew this discovery should not stay in our garden. And so RED was born. We were not just opening a gardening store; we were starting an environmental initiative to revive soil, reduce organic waste, and help everyone make their own organic compost.

Today at RED, we offer more than products. We share a complete ecosystem, a solution inspired by the wisdom of Mother Nature, so you can turn your spaces into green oases full of life.

The future
starts underground.

Policies

Shipping, returns & cancellation

Shipping & delivery

Worms are living creatures, so it matters that they reach you in great condition and that you handle them correctly on arrival.

How it's packed

Worms are packed with care in moist bedding (peat moss or coco coir) with a little food, inside well-ventilated containers and protective boxes that buffer temperature swings in transit.

On arrival

Open the box as soon as you receive it; do not leave it closed. Move the worms straight into their prepared bin in a dark, mildly cool place, and moisten the bedding if needed. Never leave the shipment in a car or in direct sun.

Pickup

Collect the shipment as soon as it reaches your city or the courier messages you. Any delay in collection releases the store from responsibility for the worms' condition.

Non-shipping days

For the worms' safety we do not hand shipments to couriers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so they don't sit in carrier warehouses over the weekend. We may also postpone shipping temporarily on extremely hot days (above 40°C) and will let you know.

Returns & replacement

Because the product is alive, returns follow strict conditions.

Accepted cases

We aim for the worms to arrive alive. Compensation applies only if the shipment arrives damaged (worms died in transit), the quantity is clearly and significantly short, or the box was damaged in a way that affected the worms.

Reporting window

Contact us within 12 hours at most from the time the courier records delivery.

What we need from you

A clear video and photos of the box at the moment you open it, showing the worms' condition and the original box, sent by WhatsApp or to customer-service email.

Resolution

If damage in shipping is confirmed, you choose between (1) a free replacement shipment at our cost, or (2) a refund for the damaged product.

Refund time

Refunds take 3 to 7 business days and go back to the same payment method or account you used.

Not covered

We don't accept returns when: the customer delays collecting the shipment from the courier; or the worms die from mishandling after delivery (direct sun, high heat, a dry environment, or harmful food such as meat and citrus).

Order cancellation

Cancellation depends on the order status.

Before preparation

You can cancel and get a full refund, as long as the order hasn't moved to “In preparation” or “Shipped”.

After shipping

Since the order is living creatures that can't stay long in shipping boxes, an order cannot be cancelled or returned once handed to the courier or out for delivery.
